Our Valentine's Party!

Our class celebrated Valentine's Day with ice cream sundaes, lots of candy, and a fun photo booth (shout out to our room mom, Ms. Kelly who organized it all)! Here we are, showing off for the camera!

100th Day of School

We recently celebrated our 100th day of first grade, and with that our class had an assignment to gather 100 of anything they wanted. We had acorns, pompoms, pennies, Q-tips, words, cheerios, and more! The students all got to tell about how they gathered their items and what method of counting they used to get to 100. Here are a few pics! 

I also took a picture of "dress as your favorite book character" day. We had 3 or 4 Junie B. Jones characters, Pete the Cat, and even Captain Underpants! 

Please don't forget that we are in the middle of our 200 book reading contest. Your child will get a trophy if they make it to 200 books, so help them out and listen to them READ!!
